Advance Financial Bilingual Customer Retention Agent in Nashville, Tennessee

Our Retention Agents specialize in not only collecting payments, but turning our existing customers into repeat customers. You'll do this by making and taking calls to help our customers make payments on current and past-due accounts.
To do well on this team, you will be goal-oriented and have great people skills. We provide ongoing training and coaching. Our work environment and benefits are best in class. Our Retention Department is open M-F 8 am-8 pm. You must have open availability for any of these times to be considered. You will work at the office during your first 30 days for training. After the first 30 days, you will be required to work in the office at least once a week, subject to business needs which may impact your in-office time.

What You'll Do
Collect payments on current as well as past-due accounts
Handle inbound and outbound customer calls
Take detailed notes during customer calls to ensure up-to-date accounts
Remind customers of upcoming payments and amounts due
Set up payment arrangements for customers and educate them about their account
Assist customers with past-due amounts by taking phone payments or directing them in stores
Track monthly goals and work with team leads to meet and exceed targets
Use negotiation skills to find positive solutions for tough conversations
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to answer customer account questions
Enthusiastically complete other responsibilities assigned by managers
What We're Looking For
High School Graduate or equivalent (some higher education preferred)
2+ years of experience in a service-related field (collections or collector experience preferred)
Excellent in-person and over-the-phone communication skills
High energy with a positive attitude
History of excellent attendance, attitude, and teamwork
Background of working in a metrics-driven organization with proven success
English and/or Bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
Physical Demands
