Dedicated School Staffing is proud to support the Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West (ESCLEW). This organization provides special education resources and support to schools and  students throughout Lucas County and the surrounding communities. The ESCLEW sees their work for these schools as vitally important to the growth and development, and ultimately the success of these students, and we join them in this view.

  We are seeking Substitute Instructional Assistant as fill-in/daily support for students in preschool classes supported by the ESCLEW. Substitute Instructional Assistants, under direction of the classroom teacher, provides instruction and support to students with emotional, physical, behavioral challenges as a part of the special education programs for preschool classrooms. Substitute Instructional Assistants save the day by filling in for employees who are unable to complete their assignment. They will be assigned by our office on a daily or longer term basis.  

Requirements High School Diploma required -- Associate Degree or higher preferred Ohio Department of Education Substitute Educational Aide Permit ($25), or higher license or ability to obtain license Experience working with students with disabilities preferred

Details On/call, as needed. Flexible schedule Hours vary ( ranging from 7:00 am -- 2:00 pm or 8:00 am - 3:45 pm, we also have half day positions as well 8:00 am - 11:45 am or 12:15 pm- 3:45 pm Enrollment in School retirement System Hourly rate: $14.50 Additional benefits and employee program perks available
