Why We Need You: As part of the Human Resources and Volunteer Services (HRVS) team , t he Talent Acquisition Manager will play a critical role in shaping the recruitment strategy and processes at the Museum of Science. Th e ideal candidate will be highly accountable, proactive in continuous improvement efforts, and will partner with M useum employees to enhance their capabilities as hiring managers. This role will ensure the implementation of an unbiased recruitment process that attracts top-tier candidates from diverse backgrounds.

What You'll Do :

Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategy:

  • Design and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy that aligns with the Museum's goals and values

  • Lead the recruitment efforts for roles at or above Manager level within the Museum and assist in other recruitment activities as needed

    Data- Driven Decision Making

  • Track key metrics, including diversity hiring outcomes, time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality

  • Create and maintain a data dashboard to measure and analyze the effectiveness of recruitment programs , and drive efforts to make necessary changes

    Diversity and Inclusion:

  • Lead initiatives and develop strategic partnerships to enhance diversity and inclusion within the recruitment process

  • Partner with various departments to ensure diverse candidate pipelines and inclusive hiring practices

    Process Design, Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

  • Design , maintain and iterate on talent acquisition processes and procedures that ensure consistent, inclusive and equitable experiences for candidates, hiring managers and interviewers

  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the overall recruitment experience

  • Oversee the implementation and utilization of recruitment technologies and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline operations and enhance the candidate and interviewer experience s

    Stakeholder Management and Training:

  • Provide training and resources to develop their skills as hiring managers , and to ensure unbiased and effective interviews and selection processe s

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and align recruitment strategies accordingly

    Employer Branding:

  • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen the Museum of Science's employer brand

  • Promote the Museum as an employer of choice through various channels, including social media, career fairs, and partnerships with educational institutions

  • Build strong relationships with external partners, including universities, professional organizations, and diversity groups, to expand talent pools

    Qualifications:

  • E xperience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding

  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including ATS optimization (Greenhouse preferred) , process standardization, and compliance management through the DEAIB lens

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment data, identify insights, and drive data-driven decision-making

  • Project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness

    REPORTS TO:

    Senior Director, Human Resources

    STARTING SALARY:

    Exempt (Salaried) $75,000 - 100,000 annually

    HYBRID SCHEDULE:

    4 Days in Office
