3rd Shift Security Supervisor

Responsibilities:

As a 3rd Shift Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of on and offsite security personnel during the overnight hours. You will ensure that all security protocols and procedures are followed, providing a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees. This position demands excellent leadership and decision-making skills, strong communication, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security.

What We Need From You Job Duties and Requirements:

• Supervise Security Personnel: Manage and lead a team of onsite and offsite security personnel during the 3rd shift, ensuring they are properly deployed and performing their duties effectively.

• Patrol and Inspection: Conduct regular patrols and security inspections to detect and prevent security breaches, hazards, and any suspicious activities.

• Emergency Response: Act as the point of contact during emergencies, ensuring that the appropriate actions are taken to mitigate risks and maintain safety. This may include coordinating with law enforcement or other emergency services.

• Incident Reporting: Document and report any security incidents, breaches, or accidents, and provide accurate and timely incident reports.

• Training and Development: Provide guidance, training, and support to security personnel, ensuring they are knowledgeable about security procedures and company policies.

• Access Control: Manage access control points and monitor CCTV systems to ensure that only authorized individuals enter secure areas.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure that safety regulations are followed and respond to any safety concerns or violations promptly.

• Customer Relations: Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients and address any concerns or requests.

• Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain security equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Essential Job Functions:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in security services or equivalent, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

• Must have a valid driver license license.

• Strong understanding of security protocols, procedures, and safety regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively.

• Proficiency with security equipment and technology, including CCTV systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus).

Additional Requirements:

• Must be available to work the 3rd shift, including weekends and holidays.

• Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and lift objects as necessary.

• Clean background check and drug screening.
