This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Competitive positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This Supply Systems Analyst position is located in the Logistics Data Division at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Responsibilities Participates in branch meetings and aids in the development of training programs and briefing packages. As a journeyman Supply Systems Analyst performs one or more of the following duties (systems/ stock control). Provide command with quality supply management/stock control support to include the development, implementation and maintenance of automated systems and operating procedures and guidance papers. Exercises a knowledge of the automated Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and applicable functional operating instructions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Three years of progressively responsible general work experience with one year of that experience equivalent to at least the NH-01 grade level, which includes: (1) Experience solving problems using a variety of analytic techniques; (2) applying innovative technical solutions to make process improvements; (3) participating in group meetings to recommend and present alternative supply approaches; and (4) Utilizing ERP systems such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) to support various supply chain or cataloging analyses. Successfully completed a full four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts. General experience as described in A, but less than three years; and I have some education as described in B, but less than the required four years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 36. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
