Avera is currently seeking Nurse Practitioner (NA) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

• Assumes the responsibility for the provision of primary care and medical management of patients at the clinic and hospital under the direction and supervision of a physician.

Education/Experience

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is required.

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree is required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• An active CNP license is required.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure is required.

• Federal & State DEA certification is required for South Dakota and Iowa employees.

• Federal DEA cerification only is required for Minnesota and Nebraska employees.

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks

• 8:00am - 5:00 pm

• Occasional call time (Weekend call on the weekend that pulmonologist is at ASL)
