Job Summary

  • Accountable for preparing, administering and documenting medication administration in accordance with established policy and procedure under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

  • Provides age-appropriate personal care to residents and maintains a sanitary, orderly and attractive environment.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

  • One year experience in Long Term Care housekeeping, dietary, laundry or activities is preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Medication Aide – Licensing Board. An active license in the state of practice is required within 120 days of hire date is required.

  • Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) – Licensing Board. An active license in the state of practice is required within 120 days of hire date is preferred.

Work Schedule

  • As needed; PRN

  • 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm med pass shift
