RENTECH BOILER SYSTEMS INC Field Services Inside Salesperson in ABILENE, Texas
As part of the Rentech Boiler Field Services Team, the selected individual will be working closely with highly technical customers to provide solutions to repair, replace, or upgrade their existing boiler systems. The role requires an individual who is self-motivated, technically strong, has excellent communication skills, can develop and present value propositions, and who is able to influence key decision makers including plant personnel, engineers, buyers, and owners. The selected candidate will report to the Director of Field Services. The responsibilities include:
- Utilize personal knowledge and creativity to leverage the vast expertise of the Rentech Boiler Systems team to develop solutions for our clients.
- Own the client relationship and technical proposal generation process from initial client contact through order acceptance.
- In collaboration with a diverse team of field service personnel, subcontractors, engineers, designers, and estimators, lead the development of the technical solution and commercial proposal that communicates the value and mutual benefit of our proposed service solutions, direct with end users.
- Engage with customers to optimize the proposed solution and customize the services to meet varying customer-specific needs and establish yourself as the clients trusted advisor in the provision of repairs, revamps, or upgraded Boiler Systems.
- Work with the field services and equipment execution teams to ensure an accurate turnover package and that the project is properly executed, and the components built in compliance with customer specifications and expectations.
- Respond to customers needs for quick-turnaround delivery of shop-fabricated parts and assemblies to support field service repair or warranty work by coordinating quoting, purchasing, fabrication, and delivery on short notice.
Qualifications:
- Experience in field services, construction sales, technical equipment sales, or experience within an "engineered to order" manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of boiler, steam or combustion-related equipment, technical equipment sales, and/or boiler field services.
- Associate degree or more preferred.
- Experience with Word and Excel and above average writing skills for technical proposal generation.
