Job Description Summary

This role is a key member of the Global MCE Crane leadership team. You may be responsible for multiple GE and 3rd party execution teams, their tooling and equipment, enabling them to perform Major Component Exchange activities on customers' site/property - on time and to schedule. Additionally, this team ensures appropriate coordination and scheduling is performed prior to the start of execution. This role must coordinate with other members of the leadership team and supporting functions to ensure overall team performance to KPI’s. There is a high level of autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to overall North America MCE execution team.

  • Responsible for knowledge of assigned region.

  • Establish and maintain contacts with 3rd party providers to ensure proper feedback on expectations, demand, and performance.

  • Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and policy formulation.

  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.

  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.

  • Assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

  • Coordinate with multiple customers throughout the region.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 15 years wind turbine service experience

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

The salary range for this position is 137,700.00 - 229,500.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include Health, Dental, Medical, 401K, Paid Leave.
