Hilton Sales Coordinator - DoubleTree by Hilton Abilene Downtown Convention Center in Abilene, Texas

Doubletree by Hilton Abilene Downtown Convention Center is in the heart of Abilene with 200 guest rooms and 23,000 sq. feet of meeting space. Our sales, catering, and events team is dynamic, fun and energetic and a great place to work! We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to be that amazing support for our team! This is a great entry level role to join our team and grow your career in hospitality.

What Will I be Doing?

  • Provides the director and managers of sales, catering, and events with administrative and clerical support including word- processing, typing, e-mailing, filing, data-entry, faxing, copying, corresponding, answering telephones, processing mail, taking notes and/or dictation
  • Taking leads via email and phone and distributing them to the managers
  • Building House accounts, inputting rooming lists, and making adjustments as needed to group contracts, proposals, and banquet event orders
  • Preparing all site visit details to potential clients
  • Preparing all amenities for VIP clients and groups
  • Assisting the General Manager with setting up VIP Reservations, scheduling interviews, and items requested by General Manager
  • Additional tasks or special projects requested by the managers and directors
