The Materials NMR laboratory in the Division/ Center of science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a research assistant/ research associate/ postdoctoral associate to work on the solid-state NMR with focus on the materials chemistry.

The successful applicant will drive a fascinating project on DNP solid-state NMR on energy related materials. Our recent work can be found here (10.1039/D3SC05514K (https://doi.org/10.1039/D3SC05514K) ).

The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students.

Applicants must have a PhD in solid-state NMR. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, and scientific creativity are essential. Good computer programming skills and working knowledge of MATLAB are preferred.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge resources at core technology platform at NYU AD in a collaborative research environment. The NMR center at NYU Abu Dhabi has an active NMR research community with a DNP SSNMR at 600 MHz (spinning frequency range from 10 kHz to 100 kHz), 500 MHz solution NMR spectrometer and X-band EPR instrument. Moreover, the postdoc will have access to the well-equipped core research facilities of NYUAD.
