Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Addison, Texas

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist based in Addison, Texas. This role is essential in the financial industry, with a focus on managing customer accounts and ensuring accurate financial records. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including processing customer credit applications and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring compliance with payment plans and prioritizing daily workload effectively.

• Communicate with customers through various channels to discuss account and payment status.

• Document all collection efforts in accounting software systems such as SAP in a standard format.

• Respond to customer inquiries professionally and in a timely manner, providing invoices and statements as required.

• Evaluate and resolve customer disputes and discrepancies affecting payments, including pricing, sales tax, and other purchase order discrepancies.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when the credit limit has been exceeded or the customer is past due.

• Collaborate with management and customers to communicate aging and account status.

• Support cash application by providing coding for proper alignment.

• Meet key performance indicator goals.

• Undertake any other projects and duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with CRM

• Skilled in using Epic Software

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Experience in handling Cash Activity

• Skilled in Check Processing

• Proficiency in SAP

• Experience in B2B collections

• Knowledge of Collection Processes

• Familiarity with Collections

• Experience in Collections - Commercial
