Rolfson Oil Accounts Receivable Specialist in Addison, Texas

    Job Overview:

    The accounts receivable specialist manages ticketing and invoices within our ordering system in addition to our accounting system. Our ideal candidate is familiar with accounting procedures and can manage daily financial transactions. This role will serve as a liaison between customers, sales, and the company.  This position will also provide support with any job duties necessary for the success of the department. To be successful in this position you need to have strong organizational skills, data and systems experience, and excellent communication and record keeping skills. 

    Job Duties:

    Set objectives for the accounts receivable team that aligns with the department’s goals.  

  • Responsible for daily processing of tickets from our ordering system, ensuring all documentation has been uploaded and approved for billing

  • Follow up with the appropriate parties to furnish any additional documentation requests needed from the customer in order to approve and pay their invoice

  • Update “Missing Ticket List” daily

  • Assist in the resolution of customer disputes flagged in the billing process

  • Maintain and organize all accounts receivable documentation to meet the business needs

  • Accounts receivable (AR) and collections duties as assigned

  • Responsible for accurately inputting the accounting information into accounting system(s)

  • Assisting with invoices, mailings, bank deposit, and other vital tasks

  • Bookkeeping

  • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    Proven Experience as an Accounts Receivable Staff

  • QuickBooks experience

  • Confidentiality 

  • Strong attention to detail, deadlines and discretion

  • Team Management and Negotiation skills 

  • Associate degree - preferred

  • Able to handle a high volume of transactions

  • Prior office/administrative experience

  • Finance experience preferred

  • Excellent knowledge of computers, typing, scanning, excel, etc.

  • Able to multitasks in a high pace environment

  • Hands-on accounting software experience
