Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Journeyman Electrician in Adrian, MI. This position is open to entry-level journeyman electricians who are eager to work in a dynamic environment.

Pay: 42 on 3rd Shift (12's)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair existing electrical equipment (120V, 480V, 3 Phase).

  • Install power supply wiring and conduit for new and existing equipment.

  • Respond to breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

  • Complete tasks and preventive maintenance as assigned.

  • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings.

  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems and pneumatic controls.

  • Calibrate and adjust electrical/electronic equipment to manufacturer specifications.

Essential Skills

  • State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician license with active validation in LARA.

  • Comfortable working in a foundry setting with hot temperatures and heat protectant PPE.

  • Experience with electrical systems, conduit bending, and wire pulling.

  • Ability to work with PLC systems and pneumatic controls.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with calibration and adjustment of electrical/electronic equipment.

Work Environment

Off shift hours are from 7pm to 7am. The work environment includes high temperatures, loud noise levels, and the handling of amasteel products. Candidates must be comfortable in these conditions and willing to wear appropriate protective gear.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Adrian, Michigan.

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $42.00
