POSITION SUMMARY Facilitates the operative or other invasive procedure by preparing and providing the required sterile instruments, supplies and equipment. Maintains the sterile field and anticipates and responds to the needs of the surgical team. Performs scrub, second circulator, sterile processing, and supply duties under the supervision of the registered nurse in the area. Functions well with other team members and shows initiative and judgment in anticipating the needs of the team.
