Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Akron, Ohio

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous and organized Customer Service Representative in AKRON, Ohio, in the insurance industry. The role primarily involves handling lien clearance issues, resolving title issues with customers, and verifying information for accurate record keeping. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, and a knack for research and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing new files to ascertain if lien clearance is required, adhering to specifications or making customer contact as necessary.

• Notifying customers of any lien clearance issues that may arise.

• Resolving any title issues with customers and borrowers promptly and professionally.

• Determining if customers have satisfied title requirements.

• Monitoring logs to follow up on outstanding lien clearance issues.

• Contacting counties, lenders, borrowers, and examiners to verify information shown on record.

• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suites for data entry and administrative tasks.

• Conducting lien searches and research as part of the job function.

• Maintaining professional email correspondence with customers to provide updates and resolve issues.

• Assisting in administrative office tasks as needed. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in customer service

• Proficient in email correspondence and written communication

• Experience in data entry and maintaining databases

• Familiarity with lien searches and related tasks

• Strong research skills and ability to gather necessary information

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Experience in administrative office tasks, including filing, scheduling, and coordination

• Understanding of the insurance industry's regulations and guidelines

• Ability to handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
