Mechanical Engineer - Design/Manufacturing/Estimating - Akron, OH - JOB 24-00540 Salary Range: $68K - $85K Permanent Position with Benefits. Akron Area family manufacturer who has been in business 80 years is seeking to hire an Engineer with manufacturing experience. Converting customers' requests for quotation and specifications into accurate shop drawings and flat layouts. While doing so control CAD drawings within the ERP including REV changes, deviation requests, and engineering changes and notifications for all parts of the job. Qualifications: • Manufacturing/Engineering degree • Experience in technical engineering/manufacturing is essential • Excel and ERP proficiencies • Use past performance to drive continuous improvement throughout an organization • CAD and SolidWorks expertise and an ability to learn/integrate new software • Knowledge and understanding of engineering and manufacturing techniques and ability to analyze the associated costs Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
