POSITION:

General Laborer - Full Time - Contract

DUTIES:

We are seeking experienced Laborers for the Cornflower Solar & Storage project in Alamosa County, Colorado. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on solar construction sites, including operating tools and equipment, assisting tradespeople, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Assist with general construction tasks, including digging, lifting, and moving materials around the site. Operate hand and power tools as needed (e.g., torque wrenches, drills). Help tradespeople (such as electricians and carpenters) with various tasks, including installing solar panels and preparing the site. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of debris. Load and unload materials and equipment safely and efficiently. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment. Communicate effectively with team members to stay on track with project schedules

REQUIREMENTS:

Verifiable experience as a laborer in the construction industry (preferred). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor for extended periods. Strong work ethic and a desire to learn new skills. Basic experience using hand and power tools (training will be provided if needed). Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions.

WAGE:

The expected compensation for this position starts at $22 per hour at the commencement of employment; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
