Description We are in search of an Account Associate to join our team in ALBANY, New York. The Account Associate will be primarily responsible for bookkeeping and portfolio data entry tasks for our clients using specialized software. This role will also involve interaction with clients and maintaining their files.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of accounts payable for clients.

• Prepare monthly or quarterly client reports including bank account reconciliations.

• Execute the preparation of paychecks and periodic payroll reports.

• Maintain general ledger account of client's activities.

• Manage client files with precision and accuracy.

• Complete special projects as directed by clients or management.

• Utilize accounting skills to make accurate entries.

• Conduct regular interactions with clients to ensure their satisfaction.

• Handle a multitude of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or industry

• Proficiency in managing accounting entries

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Knowledge of industry-standard accounting software

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness in handling sensitive financial information
