The Department of Interdisciplinary Studies at Russell Sage College is seeking an Adjunct Instructors in its online Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Community Corrections program to teach in its January 2025 term for the following courses:

Program Evaluation and Evidence-Based Practice

The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and will design and teach a course in Program Evaluation and Evidence-Based Practice. This course examines the importance of evidence-based practices and programs in community corrections, and the various forms of program evaluation.

Leadership and Collaboration in Community Corrections

The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and will design and teach a course in Leadership and Collaboration in Community Corrections. The course examines leadership theories and practical applications that teach how to establish and maintain collaborative practices across the fields within community corrections.

Adjunct compensation is currently $1000 per credit hour (depending on staffing needs and enrollment).

Job Requirements:

MA, MS, or Ph.D. (including ABD) in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Human Services, or a closely related field. Previous college or university-level teaching experience is required, with online teaching experience preferred. Applicants with professional experience in evidence-based, community corrections program design and/or evaluation will be given priority. Submit a CV by September 30, 2024.
