Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Albany, New York

Description We are actively recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Albany, New York. This role is primarily focused on providing administrative support within a behavioral health office setting. The position involves handling phone calls, customer service tasks, and ensuring smooth office operations. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns

• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all interactions are handled professionally and efficiently

• Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

• Manage email correspondence, ensuring all messages are responded to in a timely manner

• Utilize Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) for various administrative tasks

• Schedule appointments, managing calendars and ensuring all meetings are accurately recorded

• Maintain office organization and assist with administrative tasks as needed

• Utilize Practice Fusion for Electronic Health Records (EHR), ensuring all patient information is accurately recorded and updated

• Understand and use medical terminology as needed for specific tasks

• Support the team from the front end to the back end, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Proven experience in handling inbound and outbound calls

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars

• Experience with data entry and maintaining databases

• Excellent email correspondence skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with office administrative duties

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
