STRUCTURAL offers a wide range of specialty repair and maintenance services and is the largest concrete repair contractor in the United States, with roughly 2,500 employees working from locations nationwide and in select international markets. STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group.

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager and/or Senior Project Manager to be based at a project site which is located in Albany, NY. As a Project Manager for STRUCTURAL, you will be responsible for managing complex design-build and self-performed construction projects that make our nation’s structures stronger and last longer.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, including design, engineering, and construction personnel, fostering a collaborative and

  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members, developing talent and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Act as the central point of communication, ensuring that project objectives, progress, and issues are clearly communicated across all internal and external stakeholders.

  • Facilitate regular project meetings, keeping all team members aligned on project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Lead the procurement and contract negotiations for subcontractors, vendors, and materials, while ensuring timely delivery and best value.

  • Manage subcontractor and subconsultant contracts, change orders, claims, and any disputes in a timely and fair manner, ensuring the project remains on course.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and providing regular updates to Senior leadership.

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive project schedule, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.

  • Establish and enforce a robust quality management plan, working with design professionals, quality control team and internal teams to ensure all project work meets or exceeds client expectations and industry standards.

  • Promote a strong safety culture and develop a comprehensive safety plan, ensuring all team members adhere to OSHA and project-specific safety regulations.

Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this exciting opportunity:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil / Structural Engineering or related field of study. DBIA Professional, Master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred

  • 5+ years of relevant experience within the Commercial and Public construction and / or restoration industry. Experience that include structural concrete repair, waterproofing, façade repair and / or historic restoration is also preferred

  • Demonstrated capability to successfully manage construction projects up to roughly $ 50 Million in contract value

  • Proven knowledge of computer-based programs including Microsoft Office, Procore, Primavera P6, BIM 360, as well as other project management and forecasting tools

  • Strong leadership skills to effectively train and mentor others

  • Travel expectation 30%

*Salary Range: 100K-140K (commensurate upon experience) *
