Are you a clinical professional with 10 months or more of experience? We're hiring non-certified Medical Assistants and will pay for you to sit for the National Certification Exam! As a Medical Assistant at St. Peter’s Health Partners, you will work closely with nurses and physicians, providing high-quality care to our patients in a welcoming and supportive environment.
DAY - FT/PT/PD
What You’ll Do:
Patient Care : Escort patients to exam rooms, take vital signs, and document health information into the electronic medical record (EMR).
Support & Coordination : Assist with referrals, pre-authorizations, specimen collection, and patient education.
Front-End Support : Help with scheduling, check-in/check-out, charge entry, and other front-office tasks as needed.
Collaboration : Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure high standards of care and quality patient outcomes.
Safety & Compliance : Follow all safety protocols, including Universal Precautions, and adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant Training Program.
National Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, CCMA, RMA).
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 10 months of clinical experience or healthcare training.
Proficient in taking manual vital signs and using electronic health records (EHR).
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and anatomy.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $26.15 per hour
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
