Program and Payroll Coordinator (Temp-to-Hire) - Albany, NY

Overview:

The Program and Payroll Coordinator provides payroll, administrative, and program support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and their personal assistants (PAs). This role ensures that participants receive the necessary assistance and resources, manages caseloads, and supports payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Support:

  • Educate and onboard program participants through virtual, phone, or in-person sessions.

  • Assist with paperwork, assessments, and compliance during the onboarding process.

  • Provide resources and training for PA recruitment and use of proprietary software.

  • Monitor compliance, maintain accurate records, and report issues to management.

  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to participants.

Payroll Support:

  • Process payroll data, including electronic visits and paper timesheets.

  • Review and verify payroll information for accuracy and compliance.

  • Resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payroll processing.

  • Manage the timesheet email inbox and address payroll-related inquiries.

  • Support participants and PAs with resources and training on payroll submission and timesheet approval.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and comfortable using technology.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate's degree with 2+ years in human services, payroll, or administration. Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Experience with disabilities or working with related agencies is a plus.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity located in Albany, NY.
