Minimum Qualifications Current New York State employee with one year or more of qualifying permanent service in a position allocated to a Grade 11 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description Reporting to an Administrative Specialist 1, the incumbent of this position will be assigned to the Administration Unit to assist with procurement, reporting, and administrative duties.Duties include, but are not limited to:• Provide administrative support for the Administration Unit in areas to include, but not limited to, recruitment, workforce support and development, contracts, and procurement.• Provide verbal and written communications to internal and external stakeholders, including OCM staff, prospective candidates, the public, vendors, and state contractors to support the OCM.• Monitor shared mailboxes for communications from internal and external staff, perform applicable research and response to inquiries as appropriate. • Assist with the management and tracking of recruitments, mandated training completion, contracts, procurement, and other operational transactions.• Assist with onboarding and offboarding of OCM staff.• Assist with generating reports, conducting research, and collecting data.• Work with the Executive office to implement any changes to workflow, policies, and procedures, etc.• Assist with additional duties and/or special projects as needed.

Additional Comments NOTE:• Travel may be required (approximately 5%), including during evening and weekends, depending on mission and assignment. • Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver’s License issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicle is required, or otherwise demonstrate the capacity to meet the transportation needs of the job.
