REGISTERED NURSE - WORKERS COMPAlbany, NY Fusco Personnel is currently searching for a Registered Nurse to provide workers compensation oversight with an emphasis on early intervention and return to work planning. Duties & Responsibilities:•Possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in NYS•Review and investigate all employee work related injuries and illnesses and initiate claims with Workers’ Compensation insurance carrier if necessary•Ensure that all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner to the carrier and/or NYS Workers’ Compensation Board•Monitor existing claims and work collaboratively with carrier and healthcare providers to affect the best outcome for each claim•Review Loss Run to ensure accuracy of incurred costs•Facilitate the safe and timely return to work of injured employees and manage workplace accommodations•Attend Claims Review meetings with broker and carrier•Analyze trends in workplace injuries and collaborate with management and safety teams to implement strategies to reduce frequency and severity of incidents•Ensure compliance with all OSHA Recordkeeping and Reporting requirements as outlined in OSHA Standard 1904•Attend WC hearings and provide testimony as necessary•Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of Workers’ Compensation laws and OSHA regulationsSalary•$100k +/- (based on experience) Fusco Personnel takes great pride in successfully matching talent and culture for our valued clients.
