Job Description

As a Senior Manager in the Analytics Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for managing a team of Data Analysts and Analytics Consultants, including any client relationships they own, while helping drive the organizational metrics and goals. You will ensure your team is supported as they work on delivering client-specific analytics content and partnering with clients to drive organizational improvement. Responsibilities include the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management, and sales enablement, as well as having profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice. You are expected to maintain a collaborative and supportive environment that develops well-rounded team members to deliver high-quality results.

Your work is usually accomplished by working remotely with clients. However, depending upon the client's need, travel may warrant onsite time with your assigned clients, which may include up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining practice direction and ensuring the quality of consulting and analytics content delivered to the clients. Ensures that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved by focusing on best practices and process improvements. Develops plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieves business plan. Is accountable for managing and growing a revenue stream and customer base. Typically manages individual contributors. May serve as an advisor for moderately complex engagements.

People Management Responsibilities:

  • Direct the work efforts and results of a team of associates

  • Determine team goals and ensure they are met

  • Develop associates through coaching performance, completing performance reviews, goal setting, and development planning

  • Promote diversity within the organization and create a respectful work environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years total combined higher education and related work experience

  • At least 4 years of Healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience

  • At least 2 years of analytics experience

  • At least 4 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job

  • Ability to lead, engage, mobilize and motivate multiple teams to accomplish goals

  • Product, technology, or industry expertise relevant to the Oracle Cerner process (including but not limited to the following platforms: Millennium, HealtheIntent CareAware, MPages, and Soarian)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

General Expectations:

  • Willing to travel up to 25% of the time as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $106,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
