SVP Senior Commercial Relationship Manager / Branch Supervisor

SCOPE/CONTACTS:

Candidate is accountable for providing the Bank with sound, quality loan income and has direct responsibility for Commercial, Real Estate, Professional and Executive lending activities.

The candidate is also responsible for profitability of his/her branch and compliance with banking laws and regulations as well as adherence to the Bank's policies and procedures.

Incumbent is responsible for growing personal loan and deposit portfolio and branch profitability through participation in business development efforts and interactions with potential customers while maintaining favorable banking relationships with existing customers.

He/she often represents the Bank at many community functions and must be able to effectively function with a variety of people in any situation.

Candidate must exercise good interpersonal and communication skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Review loans and lending procedures to ensure the maximum overall profitability of the Banks commercial lending activities.

Manage and grow individual loan and deposit portfolio and consistently develop new business while retaining existing clients.

Incumbent will supervise branch staff and will implement expectations among staff to grow loans and deposits and treat customers in accordance with our Customer Service First sales and service culture. Candidate will set a good example for staff in upholding the values of the organization and will follow established company policies and procedures.

The incumbent must live in Albany, Texas and is expected to be involved in community activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Five years of experience in credit and commercial lending activities is required.

Must have knowledge of credit analysis, accounting principles, banking laws/regulations and possess excellent oral and written communication skills acquired by a college degree and other management training opportunities.

Incumbent must have prudent judgment in decisions involving lending activities and in handling of customers.
