Job Title: Journeyman Plumber--Direct Hire

Job Description

New opportunity specializing in the manufacturing of pre-manufactured modular homes for multi-family living, senior living, and hospitality developments. Modular homes are manufactured in a production environment and then transported to construction sites for assembly by a general contractor. We are seeking an experienced Plumber with knowledge of residential and commercial builds.

Responsibilities

  • Install water, vent, and waste pipes, along with appliances and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and dishwashers in modular units

  • Install pipes for water and gas

  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvents, caulking, or soldering

  • Assemble fittings and valves for installation

  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using hand and power tools, or machines

  • Follow instructions on installation

  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial and residential new builds

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Knowledge of plumbing applications

  • Skilled in interpersonal communication

  • Experience leading crews

  • Minnesota Journeyman or Master License

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work in collaboration, lead, and be a team player

Work Environment

Monday - Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm (optional the person Friday). This is a shop-based position that does not count towards hours for a Journeyman or Master license. Candidates must be comfortable with this. The role offers year-round work in one shop location, eliminating travel. The new facility spans 180,000 square feet and includes AC/Heat and brand new machinery. The company focuses on multi-family living, and hospitality development sectors.
