Job Summary

The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for successfully recruiting and converting leads of individuals interested in joining Girl Scouts into registered girl and adult members. The position is responsible for connecting with girls and adults in volunteer recruitment efforts, as well as assisting in the development of community partnerships needed to implement Girl Scouting in the metro (central NM) area.

The position develops and fosters community partnerships and volunteer involvement while sharing a consistent brand of the Council’s commitment to Girl Scouts and the community at large. The position is responsible for girl and volunteer recruitment, member identification, growth and maintenance.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher or equivalent experience of Direct work-related experience; experience in outside sales, rectuitment, marketing, community relations, or other relevant areas preferred; experience in membership development, recruitment and/or retention preferred; experienced in data management using sales/customer management preferred.
