HarmonyTech Analyst Programmer II (Business Systems Specialist) in Albuquerque, New Mexico

HarmonyTech Inc. is seeking an experienced Analyst Programmer II (Business Systems Specialist) to join our team. The Analyst Programmer II will play a vital role in following project methodology, conducting research analysis, designing, coding, testing, debugging, providing documentation, and maintaining application systems. This position requires proficiency in analysis, new designs, and system modifications.

This position is available in Albuquerque, NM, and requires U.S. citizenship OR Permanent Residence status.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow project methodology to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

  • Conduct research analysis to understand user requirements and system needs.

  • Design, code, test, debug, and maintain application systems.

  • Provide thorough documentation for all aspects of the development process.

  • Perform analysis for new designs and system modifications to meet evolving business needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant programmer experience.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++, and development tools like IDEs and version control systems.

  • Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL.

  • Experience with web development frameworks and technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS).

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
