Robert Half Receptionist in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Receptionist in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role is integral to our team, serving as the first point of contact for the company and ensuring excellent customer service. The Receptionist will be responsible for maintaining a professional and organized reception area, managing appointments and conference room bookings, and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring a positive impression for the company.

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls, directing them appropriately.

• Keep the reception area tidy and organized.

• Schedule appointments and manage conference room bookings efficiently.

• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.

• Provide necessary information to visitors and callers.

• Assist other departments with various tasks as required.

• Monitor visitor access, ensuring compliance with security procedures.

• Use skills in Receptionist Duties, Answering Inbound Calls, Customer Service, and Computer Data Entry effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in performing receptionist duties such as welcoming guests, directing them to appropriate contacts, answering queries, and providing general administrative support.

• Ability to handle inbound calls, efficiently addressing customer queries, and redirecting calls as necessary.

• Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to interact and communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner.

• Proficiency in computer data entry, including maintaining and updating customer databases, scheduling appointments, and inputting relevant information into the system.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with office equipment including printers, fax machines, and photocopiers.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Further qualifications in Office Administration or a related field will be appreciated.

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
