Job Description

TMC Technologies is seeking a System Administrator to join our Engineering, Development, Integration, and Sustainment (EDIS) team in Colorado Springs, CO. The TMC EDIS Team provides development, deployment, and modernization support to the Space and Missile Systems Center Advanced Systems and Development Directorate (SMC/ AD).

Key responsibilities are:

Managing the organizations servers, desktop and mobile equipment

Ensure that email and data storage networks work properly

Ensure that employees workstations are working efficiently and stay connected to the central computer network

Manage telecommunication networks

Assist network architects design and analyze network models

Participate in decisions about buying future hardware or software to upgrade the organizations network

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience; OR

Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience; OR

9+ years of relevant experience (in lieu of degree)

Active Top Secret Clearance

CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification required for DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 compliance

Proven hardware/software troubleshooting experience

Experience with common software and operating systems

Knowledge of IT support best practices

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience strongly preferred
