Title: Behavioral Health Provider / Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: Alexandria Staging Facility, 96 George Thompson Road, Alexandria, LA 71303

Position Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, OT available, Part time is also available. Nights and Weekend differentials are available. Health and Welfare is available to W-2 employees.

Summary:

Vighter is currently seeking candidates for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). This position is at the Alexandria Staging Facility, Alexandria, LA.

The LCSW provides comprehensive mental health and social services to individuals, families, and groups. This role involves assessing clients’ needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing therapy and counseling, and connecting clients with community resources. The LCSW plays a critical role in helping clients cope with and overcome a variety of mental health issues, life challenges, and emotional difficulties. The position requires strong clinical skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to promote overall well-being and improve quality of life for clients. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) shares the administrative functions that directly impact behavioral health services and collaborates with the management team in overall planning and execution of program directives.

All personnel must conduct a site visit before being accepted by the facility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify clients’ needs, strengths, and challenges.

    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.

    • Provide evidence-based therapy and counseling services to clients, including individual, group, and family therapy.

    • Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain detailed case records.

    • Advocate for clients by connecting them with community resources, such as housing, employment, healthcare, and financial assistance.

    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to coordinate care.

    • Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.

    • Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards, including confidentiality and documentation requirements.

    • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in clinical social work.

    Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

  • Proven experience in clinical social work, with expertise in mental health, counseling, and case management.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care.

  • Minimum three years of experience as a LCSW.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred.
