Description We are looking to fill the position of an Accounts Payable Specialist within our detail-oriented services team. This role is based in Alexandria, Virginia and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for handling data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliation tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process payable invoices and ensure they are appropriately matched and batched.

• Conduct regular bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Utilize NetSuite for various financial tasks and data management.

• Perform coding of invoices for proper classification and recording.

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary.

• Maintain precise customer credit records.

• Ensure the timely entry of vendor invoices into the system.

• Regularly review and follow up on outstanding invoices. Requirements • Proficiency in using NetSuite software is mandatory.

• High level of data entry skills, particularly numerical, is required.

• Ability to code invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Experience in handling payable invoices is necessary.

• Capable of managing outstanding invoices promptly and effectively.

• Responsible for the preparation and management of monthly invoices.

• Skills to enter vendor invoices accurately into the system.

• Experience in the process of batching is beneficial.

• Proficiency in bank account reconciliation is highly desirable.

• Experience in account reconciliation is necessary.

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and within deadlines.

• Experience in credit card reconciliation is a plus.
