Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Alexandria, Virginia. In this role, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities including accounts payable, procurement assistance, and data entry, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of accounts payable efficiently

• Assist with the implementation of DocuSign Processing

• Ensure accurate record keeping of all transactions

• Address account reconciliation tasks as required

• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Provide assistance with procurement processes

• Efficiently manage data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date records

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks

• Oversee the month end close procedures

• Administer payroll processes accurately and timely

• Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles

• Efficient in Data Entry tasks

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel

• Capability to handle Month End Close activities

• Experience in managing Payroll

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
