Leidos Data Entry Clerk - Joint Advertising, Market Research & Studies (JAMRS) in Alexandria, Virginia

The Data Entry Clerk will support the Joint Advertising, Market Research & Studies (JAMRS) contract by accurately inputting and managing data related to military recruitment and advertising strategies. Enters and manages data from surveys and other research according to established protocols, complete necessary forms and record-keeping as directed by supervisor. This role involves handling a high volume of data entry tasks, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining organized records. The Data Entry Clerk will work closely with the data management team to support research and analysis efforts that inform effective recruitment campaigns.

Location: Remote and JAMRS Headquarters located in the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Maintenance:

  • Accurately input a variety of data into databases, spreadsheets, and other data management systems.

  • Review data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as necessary.

  • Maintain up-to-date and organized records of all data entries, ensuring easy retrieval and reference.

Data Verification and Quality Assurance:

  • Verify the accuracy of data by cross-referencing it with source documents and reports.

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in data entries.

  • Assist in regular data audits to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data systems.

Support for Data Management Team:

  • Assist the data management team in organizing and managing large datasets.

  • Help with the preparation of data reports, summaries, and presentations as needed.

  • Provide administrative support for data-related tasks, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with analysts, researchers, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate data entry.

  • Communicate effectively with team members to clarify data entry requirements and resolve any issues.

  • Participate in team meetings to stay informed about project updates and data needs.

Confidentiality and Security:

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.

  • Adhere to all security protocols and guidelines related to data handling and storage.

  • Ensure that all data entry tasks comply with relevant regulations and company policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. An associate degree or coursework in data management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience (1-2 years preferred) in data entry, data management, or a related administrative role.

  • Skills:

  • Proficiency in data entry software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, Access, or other database management systems).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic understanding of data privacy and confidentiality principles.

  • Security Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and successfully complete a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check and a National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with or within the Department of Defense (DoD).

  • Familiarity with JAMRS and its mission and objectives.

  • Basic knowledge of military recruitment processes or advertising data.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $31,850.00 - $57,575.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
