We are seeking an experiencedProgram Management Support who has a proven track record of exceeding expectations and providing world-class service to high-level personnel.
Position Summary:
The role of the Program Management Supportis to provide specialized program management support in various tasks related to program execution, financial management, stakeholder coordination, and data analysis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Demonstrating proficiency in Excel functions, including but not limited to:
Formulas
XLookup
VLookup
Slicers
Conditional formatting
Performing analysis in Excel using Power BI, regression analysis, and the analysis toolpack.
Conducting trend analysis, sensitivity analysis, pareto analysis, and utilizing visualization capabilities.
Assisting in developing enterprise strategies and guidance with DOD entities, including defense agencies and enterprise users of the Defense Acquisition Workforce Development Account (DAWDA).
Understanding the objectives of the acquisition workforce and the use of acquisition funding accounts to improve recruitment, training, development, and retention.
Conducting in-depth analysis of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Leading initiatives to redesign or optimize processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
Leading requirement-gathering workshops, interviews, and surveys with stakeholders.
Defining, prioritizing, and managing business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Establishing funding requirements by organization and communicating new program amounts/budgets to each organization.
Assisting in providing detailed Program Objective Memorandum (POM) guidance and instructions for submitting proposals.
Maintaining accurate funds balances and tracking for each individual entity within the program.
Analyzing available balance of funding for unfunded requirements (UFRs).
Providing recommendations for UFR funding distributions to Government POCs.
Validating funding balances through official financial system reports.
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, subject matter experts, and technical teams.
Providing program overviews to DAWDA Managers as required.
Maintaining transaction accounting for all program stakeholders on a Government-approved system of file.
Balancing transaction accounting with financial system reports regularly.
Performing execution analysis of each funding program and providing recommendations to the PM regarding individual programs (e.g., changes in program funding requirements and statuses).
Collaborating with technical teams to design and evaluate technology solutions that address business needs.
Leading project planning, scoping, and scheduling activities.
Coordinating project tasks and tracking progress against milestones.
Identifying and assessing project risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Providing recommendations on future funding actions for each program user to the PM.
Conducting training sessions, workshops, and other guidance to build user and stakeholder capabilities.
Aiding in the timely submission of data and accounting.
Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Project Management role, preferred experience with the DOD or other government agencies.
3-5 years of project management (preferred)
Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
Learning Assessments/Development
MS Excel experiences a must
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
Excellent customer-facing skills; writing and verbal communication skills
Must be US Citizen and ability to obtain a Favorable Background Check
