The Opportunity:

As a Deputy Program Manager you will serve as the primary client liaison and focal point to accomplish the administrative and managerial aspects of the contract. You will collaborate with the Government customer to gather information, define complex work problems, and will be directly responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and completion of all task and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution of the contract

  • Collaborating and coordinating with stakeholders to gather information, define complex work problems, and will be directly responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and completion of all tasks and contractual requirements

  • Managing scope and tasking for staff and subcontractor personnel

  • Driving on contract growth through exceptional performance, relationship building, and customer intimacy

  • Serving as direct POC for the government customer

  • Managing program financials and brief financial/program status to CACI senior leadership

  • Mentoring team members and guide employee development

  • Providing a motivating environment; resolving conflicts quickly and professionally

  • Managing hiring, onboarding, and training to fill vacancies quickly

  • Managing risks and issues and implement corrective actions

  • Establishing/Maintaining working relationship with program sponsors and stakeholders

  • Managing and updating program documentation

  • Working with the business group Director in managing program decisions, schedule, and Profit & Loss (P&L)

Additionally, you and your team will:

  • Analyze information from a variety of acquisition and program sources

  • Author, review, and edit documents and prepare reports

  • Participate in program performance assessments of Major Defense Acquisitions Programs; and, interact with and manage a broad range of issues with the front offices of the Secretary of Defense, Deputy Secretary of Defense, the Military Departments, Joint Staff, Defense Agencies, GAO, Combatant Commands, US and foreign industry, and Congress.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Five (5) or more years of program management experience managing Federal Government programs

  • Proven history of successful, progressive managerial responsibilities

  • Experience working with and briefing SES, Flag-level officers, and senior executives

  • Experience managing a team of diverse skill sets and experience levels

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • DoD Secret security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP or other recognized Program Management certification

  • Experience supporting OSD, Joint, MAJCOM, and/or Headquarters staff

  • Proficiency with automation and dashboarding tools

  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance

  • Executive-level support experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agencies

  • Program management experience demonstrating the ability to collaborate and deliver contractual services in a high op-tempo environment, coordinating between multi-disciplined functions of internal and external organizations.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
