SHRM seeks a dynamic eCommerce Specialist to drive the evolution of our online store. You'll leverage your ecommerce expertise to optimize the shopping experience, enhance customer conversion, and contribute to broader website and business goals. We're looking for a detail-oriented, data-driven team player to collaborate with the eCommerce Manager in achieving sales objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute optimization strategies to enhance site performance, usability, and overall customer experience, driving increased conversion rates.

  • Optimize product listings, descriptions, and visual content to elevate the online shopping experience and drive customer engagement.

  • Implement A/B testing and multivariate testing methodologies to continuously refine and improve website layout, navigation, product presentation, and checkout processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, developers, marketers, product owners, and product managers to prioritize and implement optimization initiatives based on business goals and customer feedback.

  • Partner with the marketing and product teams to conceptualize and execute ecommerce campaigns, promotions, and initiatives aimed at driving sales and enhancing brand visibility.

  • Develop go-to-market plans with Product Owners and Marketing that align with business objectives and target market needs.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as bounce rate, average session duration, and conversion funnel metrics, and leverage insights to make data-driven decisions that drive revenue growth and improve overall user experience. Generate comprehensive reports on ecommerce performance, distilling insights and actionable recommendations for ongoing enhancement.

  • Stay up-to-date on market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with teams across SHRM to improve the ecommerce experience including marketing, business intelligence, technology

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, data science or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience in ecommerce, with a deep understanding of ecommerce best practices, digital experience optimization, and conversion rate optimization strategies.

  • 1-2 years of experience managing ecommerce platforms. Adobe Commerce, Magento, and/or Adobe Experience Manager, preferred.

  • Experience with reporting and dashboards in Magento, preferred.

  • Experience with customization and personalization of an e-commerce site, preferred.

  • Experience with NetSuite a plus.

  • Experience with platform integrations a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience in project organization, with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.

  • Proven track record of effectively spearheading new initiatives from inception amidst varying degrees of ambiguity.

  • Proficiency in leveraging data analytics tools and methodologies to extract actionable insights and drive informed decision-making.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM, and email marketing, with a focus on driving ecommerce growth.

  • Knowledge of best practices for ecommerce user experience design

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams.

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, ability to draw conclusions from data, and make impactful recommendations.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines. Experience with agile methodologies and working within agile frameworks.

  • Knowledge of HR or association industry trends and practices is a plus.

Work environment

Work is regularly performed in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

The hiring range for this position is $83,000 to $95,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. SHRM offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package.
