Description

Robert Half, Management Resources is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager for a 6-8 month engagement with our client in South Orange County.

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for processing payroll for over 1,000 employees, utilizing a larger payroll processing system. This role requires strong attention to detail, an ability to manage complex payroll operations, and ensures compliance with all federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee and process payroll for 1,000+ employees on a regular pay cycle

-Manage payroll operations using a larger payroll system such as (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom, UKG)

-Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations

-Handle payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and resolve any payroll-related issues

-Prepare payroll reports and ensure accurate tax filings

-Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processing

-Maintain and update payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information

Requirements

-Proven experience as a Payroll Manager

-Experience processing payroll for large employee populations (1,000+)

-Proficiency with major payroll processing systems

-Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

-Ability to work 100% onsite in South Orange County for the full duration of the contract (6-8 months)
