Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the legal industry located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will handle various tasks related to accounts payable and client services, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Perform check issuance for various business needs

• Process and manage change forms for clients

• Maintain and update accounts payable data

• Handle basic accounts payable tasks as required

• Review and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment

• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in invoices

• Liaise with clients and other departments to resolve any accounts payable related queries

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data in line with company policies

• Assist with other accounts payable and accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) processes.

• Experience in handling customer invoices is necessary.

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.

• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.

• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

• Excellent data entry skills.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Be able to demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.

• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the specified location.
