Robert Half Bookkeeper in Allentown, Pennsylvania

Description

Robert Half Talent Solutions is offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the Allentown, Pennsylvania. This role will primarily involve maintaining financial records such as purchases, sales, receipts, and payments for our clients. The Bookkeeper will also be tasked with reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies, creating and updating expense reports, and processing reimbursement forms.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions and carry out tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Prepare bank deposits and conduct bank statement reconciliations

• Manage payroll and maintain organized financial records

• Utilize software for data entry, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

• Generate month-end closing reports and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately

• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in your work, with strong attention to detail

• Participate in financial audits and assist in the preparation of financial statements

• Ensure all bookkeeping activities comply with federal and state tax regulations

• Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of three years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations is a must

• Demonstrated skills in bookkeeping and data entry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is desirable

• Must have knowledge and experience in payroll processing

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential
