Valley Health Partners Community Health Center Dentist in Allentown, Pennsylvania
Provides comprehensive and emergency dental care with primary focus on examination, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric population; complies with health center safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality requirements; acts as primary dental care provider for patients; provides comprehensive dental care to adult and pediatric populations; timely completes all patient charts including medical history consultations, treatment plans, and progress notes; diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums and related oral structures; diagnoses, and treats emergency dental situations; provides preventative care (cleanings, x-rays, sealants); provides restorative care (fillings, pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, extraction); provides complex care including replacement of missing teeth via fixed or removable prosthetics; provides basic appliance therapy (space maintenance and occlusal guards); plans and provides multidisciplinary oral health care for patients with special needs; reviews medical history and evaluates patient's oral condition; addresses urgent/emergent dental problems and emergency patient concerns in dental medicine department; develops and implements patient dental education programs in accordance with currently acceptable dental practices. Will work at other locations within the Allentown metro area.
