We are seeking a Sr Principal Machinery Engineer in our Houston TX or Allentown, PA global headquarters

This role will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance support and optimizations of rotating machinery. The machinery includes centrifugal, reciprocating and screw compressors, steam turbines, expanders, blowers, gearboxes, cooling towers, fin-fans and all types of pumps including cryogenic pumps.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Initiate and implement reliability and efficiency improvement initiatives and best practices.

Provide technical support and supervision in the overhaul of large rotating machinery.

Provide machinery training to operation and maintenance personnel.

Provide technical support in re-rate of existing machinery for plant optimization initiatives.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in rotating equipment machinery design, application, engineering, and maintenance preferred.

Familiar with machinery vibration diagnostics skills and machinery troubleshooting skills.

Well versed with root cause analysis techniques.

Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions required.

Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.

Travel to sites throughout region is required (50%-75%)
