Design, implement and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLC) and troubleshoot and maintain all electronic and electrical equipment. How You Will Make Contributions That Matter * Troubleshoot electrical issues and equipment breakdowns. * Effectively support the PM program while keeping downtime to a minimum. * Perform preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment, heating and cooling systems, ingredient handling systems and plumbing systems. * Start machines and equipment to test operation flow repair. * Record preventative maintenance tasks and work orders in a timely manner. * Complete work orders and respond to mainte * nance calls on the production floor in a timely manner to prevent downtime. * Install, maintain, repair, and overhaul production equipment. Install and maintain electrical equipment/controls, circuits and PLC. * Troubleshoot and identify worn parts and rebuild machine assemblies, pumps, meters, valves, valve actuators and other equipment. * Safe handling and use of various chemicals with strict adherence to hazardous communication and requirements. * Train others as needed and able to influence others.
