We're looking for a Coordinator, Food Safety and Supplier Quality to join the team in our Alpharetta headquarters. Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by maintaining the Food Safety and Quality Manual Document Management Process and providing detailed monthly reports to the leadership team and suppliers. The Coordinator also enacts Corrective Action reports to packers/vendors and follows up on Corrective actions and reports results to the leadership team. In addition, this role will manage branded and generic supplier data.

NOTE: We have a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days working from home.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Maintain the Food Safety and Quality Manual Document Management Process, including the creation, updating, and approval of the HBH Quality and Food Safety Documents.

  • Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources related to food safety, quality control, and production processes.

  • Perform at least 15 Food Safety QAD audit in a calendar year.

  • Report on findings.

  • Follow up store on corrective actions.

  • Elevate food safety issues as needed.

  • Provide on-site guidance to aid food safety practices.

  • Supplier Management:

  • Request, review, and file branded and generic supplier data.

  • Maintain a supplier database of pertinent food safety information.

  • Manage Customer Illness Reports:

  • Manage the company tracker and trend analysis.

  • Serve as the first line of communication with stores reporting illnesses.

  • Serve as the first line of communication with SMG Dissatisfaction reports.

  • Work in conjunction with Asset Protection and external insurance claims.

  • Provide systems oversight for the D2C business.

  • Manage direct supplier communication channels for illness reports.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, operations, and R&D, to translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations for process improvements.

  • Prepare routine and ad-hoc food safety and quality measurement reports, trend reports, and presentations.

  • Design and implement automated data monitoring dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key food safety and quality metrics.

  • Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data.

  • Maintain records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.

  • Participate in projects as assigned.

  • Participate in internal and external department meetings as assigned.

  • Participate in weekly and monthly product sensory evaluations.

YOUR TRACK RECORD

3+ years of quality, food safety and regulatory experience for consumer product goods. Familiarity with FDA Food Code. Knowledge of HBH shelf life for all products. Good knowledge of MS Office and databases and excellent knowledge of Excel and Forms.com databases. Knowledge of industry quality and food safety standards (ISO 9000, ServSafe, etc.). standing/walking. There is some requirement to lift or handle material and/or equipment of moderate weight (up to 20 pounds)
