Synopsis of the role: This 12-week Internship Program is a gateway to full-time career paths for current university students. The program provides meaningful projects with direct impact on our business as well as exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to network. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a discipline that combines software and systems engineering for building and running large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems.

This position is based in Atlanta. This resource should be local to Atlanta and will be required to work from our Alpharetta, GA location.

To adhere to our Return To Office (RTO) weekly onsite requirements, Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) each and every week.

What You'll Do Design, implement and maintain services in Google Cloud with monitoring, logging and alerting - from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement. Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health. Troubleshoot production issues with our Customers and practice sustainable incident response and postmortems. Be part of an on-call rotation to support production systems. Build and manage systems, infrastructure and applications through automation. Write code using programming and/or scripting languages. Communicate with Operations and Product team members.

What experience you need Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other Technology-related field Graduation date on or before May 2026 Experience or coursework in Java or Python or similar programming languages.

What could set you apart Knowledge of Cloud Services and/or GCP and general-purpose programming languages. Knowledge in demonstrated interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed. Familiarity with Agile development practices. Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting complex solutions. Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks. Experience with algorithms, databases, networks, security, or software design. Ability to adapt to quickly changing project requirements and continuous feedback.
