We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what's important to them and their clients. This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 2-3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.

*General Description *

**The Portfolio Reconciliation team is primarily responsible for the daily bookkeeping and reconciliation of domestic and/or multicurrency portfolios. This includes analyzing and resolving transaction or trade related discrepancies across a variety of asset classes and products in our portfolio accounting system. The role may be responsible for additional tasks including portfolio reporting, corporate actions, or other ad hoc projects as assigned. The ideal candidate will work effectively with large amounts of data and will communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

May be required to work extended hours when necessary.

Primary Responsibilities**

– Reconciling our client’s portfolio data against custodian cash and positions

– Resolving portfolio variances in a timely and accurate manner; work to identify and address high risk situations via daily portfolio exception reports

– Training new and existing employees

– Providing coverage for other members of the team

– Managing communication with various internal and external stakeholders

– Recordkeeping and maintaining updated procedural documentations

– Internal and External Reporting

– Providing data management across a variety of asset classes

– Other ad hoc tasks as determined by the department Supervisor

Job Requirements

– BA/BS with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study. Open to individuals with a background in IT, programming, or equivalent work experience

– Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

– Must be comfortable working with large datasets in Excel. Capable of performing basic Excel functionality (copying, pasting, setting up different views, sorting, and similar functionality). VBA and macro experience is preferred

– Strong attention to detail and very well-organized

– Ability to prioritize effectively under tight deadlines

– Strong interpersonal skills

– Ability to work independently and without direct supervision

– Leadership skills are encouraged

– Advent APX, reconciliation tool experience a plus
