Your role at Clorox:

Manages the Production Services team to deliver excellent technical support in execution of key PSO projects in Cost savings, Supply assurance, Brand Maintenance and technical issues resolution for all Clorox brands and Businesses across the Global Businesses.

In this role, you will:

  • Manages the Production Services team to deliver excellent technical support in execution of key PSO projects in Cost savings, Supply assurance, Brand Maintenance and technical issues resolution for all Clorox brands and Businesses across the Global Businesses.

  • Ensures key interfaces between Production Services and all parts of PSO, R&D, Engineering, business units are working well and effectively.

  • Works aggressively on developing technical and leadership excellence on the PS team and is a key advocate and promoter of personnel rotations across PSO for developmental purposes.

  • Is considered a key business partner and leader by PSO, Business and other Functional stakeholders.

  • Leads a team of technical professionals in the Process and/or Packaging area of Production Services.

  • Leads a team of up to 5-10 reports with multi-functional and multiple SBU/Division responsibility. Number of direct reports vary from 2-6 typically.

  • Most of the staff is geographically located in Kennesaw, GA or Pleasanton, CA, however team members could be remote located throughout the North American or global businesses. Spans a grade range level from 23-26.

  • Development of PS staff both as technical experts and PSO leaders in GTS.

  • Develop our bench to facilitate opportunities in functions inside/outside of production services.

  • Participates in PSO staff rotations to insure/enable career development of current team and broader PSO individuals.

  • Maintain a highly motivated and agile technical team that supports each other and champions GTS product changes.

  • Manage budget, review proposal and evaluate spending as needed.

  • Has broad reaching impact & leadership to influence and drive

  • Develop Interface/Interdependence between Domestic and International functions to facilitate support where needed.

  • Ensure development and implementation of strategic changes across business and SBU’s.

  • Influence operating & functional leadership teams to make required decisions/direction setting on projects, provide input on overall scope and insure understanding of risks.

  • Insure the right level of support and engagement for Production Services with key PSO teams (Cost savings, OTV’s, DOT’s, SLA forums, etc.).

  • Insure good interface between Production Services and R&D (Process/Package).

  • Drive partnership across PSO and R&D to influence discovery projects.

  • Insure good interface between Production Services and other key PSO functional areas (GSS, Quality, Engineering, Internal Manufacturing, GEMS, Planning, Integrators, Operations, etc.).

  • Could manage large projects and business initiatives (i.e. Cost Savings or capital requirements as needed)

  • Can effectively work in/lead cross-functional planning & project groups that must enable multi-plant work to realize a business objective.

  • Provides leadership and direction to Category/Division Leadership Teams to improve results and process.

  • Member of the Global Prod. Services Leadership Team: evaluating personnel moves, org design, gaps (people and training), technical needs, etc.

  • Active interaction with Key PSO players (Integrator, GSS, CQA, Manufacturing, GEMS, PMs, SCLs, Planning)

  • Builds strong organizational alliances with other technical and business leaders and functions.

  • Domestic projects prioritization (resource allocation and maintain Demand: Capacity). Balance staffing plans to meet business goals.

  • Ensures Team’s support across multiple SBU’s and projects meets business requirements.

  • Recognized expert in technical and operational processes and practices.

  • Role model of both the leadership and tactical elements of Production Services to direct reports and other PS personnel.

  • Insures delivery of key cost savings, supply assurance, brand maintenance and issues resolution initiatives (QA/Plant).

  • Active participation around the LRP, Budget and FCST processes for US.

  • Insure the controls for the correct spending of the Budget / SWP.

  • Participate as a plus one on key leadership teams

  • Strong influence around the definition and efficient use of the domestic budget related with the Production Services area.

  • Recommends the potential acquisition of technical equipment and resources in order to improve the capabilities of the area.

  • See cost savings reference under Divisional, Regional & Functional Leadership. Team will typically deliver $3-9M annualized cost savings.

  • Enforce the correct and effective use of the PDM/PLM/SharePoint database in order to maintain updated the technical data and take advantage of it.

  • Working knowledge of capital plans and execution of capital requirements.

  • 12+ years of Product Supply (Manufacturing, Technical, etc.) related experience and People Management.

  • Strong technical and project leadership skills, assertive, self-directing is a must, able to manage up and down the organization with the correct level of authority and leadership.

  • Growth mindset and commitment in setting and meeting aggressive goals and enjoy working in a variety of cultures and settings.

  • Strong Followership and the ability to adapt and flex as the business needs drive change.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills (oral, written).

  • Strategic vision with ability to propose, analyze, and articulate short-, medium- and long-term scenarios for business opportunities.

  • Great interpersonal skills that help drive fact-based decision making across cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in roles of moderate/high technical level (manufacturing, engineering, technical services, QA, etc.)

  • High level of influence and change management skills.

  • Managing and supervising experience (technicians, managers).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.

  • Vast proven experience related Product Supply leadership roles and/or Degree in Engineering, Technical Field (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing etc.)

Hybrid-3 days a week in the office, 2 days working from home.

–Zone A: $121,900 - $240,100

–Zone B: $111,700 - $220,100

–Zone C: $101,600 - $200,100
